FAQs

How do I buy one of your paintings?

You can simply click the "Buy Now" button to take you to a secure server for payment. If you prefer, you can email me to reserve the painting, and I will send you an invoice.

How do you deliver?

Usually through ParcelForce, Special Delivery or Express delivery, depending on requirements and insurance. Your painting will be insured and will require a signature. Very large pieces are delivered via a courier. You will be given a tracking number so you can track the progress of your painting.

What do I do if I don't like it once I have received it?

You are fully protected by Distance Selling Regulations which I comply with. Once received, you have 7 days to change your mind. I will arrange for return delivery and you will be refunded the full amount, excluding return delivery costs.

What if the painting is damaged on delivery?

Contact me immediately and I will arrange for the painting to be collected. I may ask you to take photographs for insurance purposes. You will have a full refund or you may choose another painting of your choice by next day delivery.

How is the painting packaged?

I use many layers of cardboard and bubble wrap to protect the painting itself and then it is boxed and sealed with heavy duty tape for added protection from damage. Larger pieces are packaged by an Art Courier. All of this at no extra cost to you!

Is payment online secure?

Yes it is. I use PayPal which is a secure server, and you do not need to have an account. You can pay by credit or debit card.

PayPal uses cutting-edge data encryption, fraud detection tools and all kinds of other advanced techniques for security.

Do you exhibit?

Yes, from time to time, but my work sells fairly quickly, so its difficult to build a larger body of work. If I'm honest, I would rather paint in my studio!

Do you sell in Galleries?

Yes from time to time, but I try to avoid adding at least 35% in commission charges to my prices. I like affordable art, available to everyone!

How do you decide how much a painting will cost?

Quite simply: Cost of materials I use and the time taken to complete. Some pieces take more time and are more involved than others. I don't charge more simply because I'm selling more!

Do you take commissions?

Yes, frequently. Although I cant paint what you want me to paint. I will look at a brief for colours and size, and often style and materials. The painting will then evolve. If you love it when its finished, great! If not, you are under no obligation to buy it.

Do you supply corporate art?

Yes, I have several clients in offices, receptions and company headquarters. You can buy, or you can rent. Its up to you. All work is delivered and collected. Choose from my portfolio or commission specialist sizes. If you want vibrant, interesting art, that you can touch, then simply contact me with your ideas. You can also ask me about my work for visually impaired clients.

Why do you paint the way you do?

I paint from thoughts and emotions, not from pictures or storyboards. My work is expressive, and is passionate. I love to explore colour and texture, from soft fluid pieces to bold abstract work. I enjoy painting. Its who I am. I don't paint portraits or pets, and I don't paint cute little landscapes. I throw, drip, pour, spray, scrape and put my whole self into every piece. I don't use brushes, except for very fluid, flowing pieces in my landscapes. I don't like detail...I let the colour, spirit and texture speak for itself!

Why should I buy from you?

If you like my work, you will get great service at affordable prices. I deal with every one of my clients personally, and many pop in for a coffee! My work here costs significantly less than those hanging in a Gallery, and every piece is an original, signed, with a certificate of authenticity. I use gallery grade materials and canvasses for longevity and quality. I create art that people like, and find interesting, AND if you don't like it, you will get your money refunded. No quibbles or grumbles!
