About me
I trained at Parsons School of Design in New York City and University of the Arts, London. I was born in Lincolnshire and spent most of my working life living and working in New York City and London. Initially, I worked in theatre ,but after moving back to Lincolnshire in 2003, I returned to my first love: painting. Painting is a great passion of mine. I love the way I feel when I am painting in my studio. Its like entering another world.
I exhibit ocassionally, but its not a necessary pleasure. My work sells quite quickly, so its hard to build a large body of work for this purpose.Its not important to me to work on exhibitions, I simply love to paint. I do enjoy it whens someone loves what I do enough to want to purchase a painting for their collection.
I have held many artist residencies, the most recent being The South Holland Open Arts and The Four Seasons Project. I have taught expressive art classes through primary and secondary schools, worked on a variety of youth projects and also within the adult education sector.
